About the studio

We design buildings that feel calm to live in, age well, and belong to the place where they stand.

Each project starts with the site: how the sun moves across it, where the views open up, and what the neighborhood needs. The plan follows from there.

We work with a small team on a limited number of commissions each year, so the partners stay involved from the first sketch to the final handover.

Selected work

Cliff House exterior

Cliff House

Residential, 2024

A family home set into a coastal slope. Concrete walls anchor the house against the wind, while a long glass wall opens every room to the sea. The living spaces step down with the land, so each level has its own terrace and its own view.

Location: Coastal Ridge

Area: 420 m²

Status: Completed 2024

Linden Apartment interior

Linden Apartment

Interiors, 2023

A full renovation of a 1960s apartment. Walls were removed to bring daylight deep into the plan, and built-in oak joinery replaced most of the furniture.

Location: City Center

Area: 135 m²

Status: Completed 2023

Foundry Offices workspace

Foundry Offices

Commercial, 2023

A former steel foundry converted into a creative workplace for 200 people. The original trusses and brickwork were kept and cleaned, with new timber floors hung between them.

Location: Riverside District

Area: 3,800 m²

Status: Completed 2023

Pine Court Houses

Pine Court Houses

Residential, 2022

Six terraced homes arranged around a shared garden. Every house has a private courtyard and a roof terrace, on a site that once held a single bungalow.

Location: North Hills

Area: 6 × 180 m²

Status: Completed 2022

Harbor Pavilion

Harbor Pavilion

Commercial, 2021

A public café and events pavilion on the harbor front, with a folded roof that shelters an open-air terrace below.

Location: Harbor Front

Area: 650 m²

Status: Completed 2021

Atelier Nine interior

Atelier Nine

Interiors, 2025

A fashion showroom and studio, finished in lime plaster and blackened steel, with rails and display tables designed by the studio.

Location: Old Town

Area: 280 m²

Status: In construction

How a project comes together

  1. Brief and site visit

We meet on site, listen to how you want to live or work, and agree on budget and timeline.

  2. Concept design

Sketches, models and early plans that test two or three different directions.

  3. Design development

The chosen direction is refined into detailed drawings, materials and cost estimates.

  4. Permits and tender

We prepare the permit set and help you select the right builder.

  5. Construction

Regular site visits until handover, so what gets built matches what was designed.
